If you’re looking for a gourmet meal with gold flakes and a personal violinist, this isn’t it—but if you want insanely tasty stir-fried noodles for just $5, you’ve hit the jackpot. Perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and so cheap that even my wallet smiled. Highly recommended for anyone who loves great food and keeping their bank account happy!

One of the best char kway teow in Sg and definitely in my top 3 list. Unlike some popular ckt stall, the kway teow here is not fried until pieces which is good that still able to taste the texture of it. And most importantly, their hum(cockles) are big and juicy.

The fried Oysters omelette and fried kway Teow are both good. The auntie is the one preparing the Fried Kway Teow and the uncle oyster omelette. The CKT is a wet version, not so much wok hey but it is tasty and portion is generous. The oyster omelette is equally tasty and come with big oysters at the side smaller oyster mixed with the eggs. Please note that the store is closed on Monday and Tuesday.

This stall's CKT definitely brought the nostalgia back for me. Back in the 90s, I would go to Lakeview Market after canoeing practice and my mates and I would go to the market to order the smokey char kway teow, amongst other things. After so many years, this is the first time I tried it, after googling and confirming they are the same stall. Of course the chef helming the stall would have passed down to new chef. (I read it is now the 4th gen in the family) but still the recipe remains.

The CKT has a nice smokey taste and smell when you first taste it, the chef does not overpower it with sauces so it's neither too sweet nor too salty. Perhaps one of the better ones in the southern part of SG. Glad it comes with chives, bean sprouts, eggs and see hum. I ordered the $5 version with 80c for extra egg. You can also pay it forward and pay for a meal for the needy, which the stall owner would then record on a board in front of the stall.
