Looking to renovate kitchen only. Cabinet and tiling. Anything to look out for? I am thinking of engaging a contractor. How long do they take?

If doing a whole kitchen, like all cabinets, sink, floors, backsplash etc.. Easily will take 2 weeks. Assume there will be delays. Always delays in reno these days.
