Carpool daily to save some money on petrol and made a great friend

At first i started using Grab Hitch. But it was really troublesome to get someone nearby and always getting someone 2-5 km away. I stay at Yishun and to drive to work daily alone is quite costly.

I posted my services and found a neighbour who worked at the same building in MBFC and thats how the trip began. I charged $10 per trip. I think its a great idea to ferry people who work at the same place to reduce carbon footprint. This is roughly what i posted.

Carpool Offer: Drive to Work Together and Save Costs

I’d like to offer you a ride to work each day, if you’re interested. By carpooling together, we can both save on fuel and reduce wear and tear on our vehicles. Plus, it’s always nice to have some company during the commute!

Here’s what I’m thinking:

Daily Rides: I leave for work around [your departure time], so we can coordinate our schedules to make sure it works for both of us.
Cost Sharing: We can discuss splitting the fuel costs or coming up with another arrangement that’s fair and works for both of us. Alternatively, I’m happy to offer the ride without any expectations—just as a way to help out a neighbor.
Flexibility: If either of our schedules change, we can be flexible and figure out the best plan for both of us.
